A Decade in Light and Shadow: A Chapter of China–U.S. Friendship
旧金山摄影师联盟 (San Francisco Photographers Alliance，简称 SFPA) 成立于2015年，长期致力于通过影像介入现实，以摄影为媒介，连接社区经验与文化记忆，并持续推动中美之间的民间文化交流。
Founded in 2015, the San Francisco Photographers Alliance (SFPA) engages photography as a medium of observation and connection—linking lived experience, cultural memory, and ongoing dialogue between China and the United States.
2016年，“侨报杯”摄影展启幕。十年来，在与《侨报》的持续合作中，这一展览逐渐形成稳定的公共文化场域，汇聚来自太平洋两岸的影像实践者，在差异与交汇之中展开持续的观看与表达。
Inaugurated in 2016, the China Press Cup Photography Exhibition has, over the past decade, evolved into a sustained cultural platform—bringing together image-makers from both sides of the Pacific in an ongoing exchange of perspectives.
在数字影像高度普及的当下，联盟持续坚持实体展览的呈现方式，使影像得以回归空间与身体的感知维度。这一选择，使观看不再只是信息的接收，而成为一种现场经验，也使影像在时间与空间中获得更为具体的存在。
In an age saturated with digital imagery, SFPA’s commitment to physical exhibitions restores photography to spatial and embodied experience—where viewing becomes not merely consumption, but presence.
发展至今，联盟逐步由兴趣驱动走向具有专业深度的创作共同体。其成员背景多元，以工程师为主体，在理性结构与感性表达之间形成独特张力，使影像实践呈现出跨领域融合的特征。
Over time, the Alliance has evolved into a community of practice with growing professional depth. Its members—many with engineering backgrounds—bring a distinctive tension between structure and perception, shaping a cross-disciplinary visual language.
本次展览以“十年光影路，助力中美友好”为线索，通过影像回望摄影人与时代并行的轨迹。在个体经验的叙述之中，折射出更为广阔的历史语境与情感结构，使私人记忆与集体经验彼此交织。
Framed by the theme “A Decade in Light and Shadow,” this exhibition reflects on the parallel trajectories of photographers and their times—where personal narratives intersect with broader historical and cultural currents.
