Join us as we transform the rooftop of NEMO Science Museum into a vibrant space filled with hundreds of readers for our third ever 1-Hour Reading Rave! This event is free (pay-what-you-like) and is all about swapping screen time for an hour of tranquil social reading. Think of it as a workout for your mind, without the sweat! 💪📖

Imagine the scene: 500 people diving into books together on one of the city's most iconic rooftops, phones nowhere in sight. It’s a chance for Amsterdam to unplug and unite in this unique offline reading rave, all while overlooking the stunning cityscape. 🏙️

In June, over 300 readers gathered on the rooftop, enjoying silent readings accompanied by live guitar music. Participants shared moments of connection afterwards, making it an unforgettable experience. 🎸✨

What to Expect:

⏰ 1 hour of relaxed (silent but social) reading, surrounded by fellow readers.
📵 No-Phone Policy: keep your phones tucked away for the duration of the event.
💬 Connect: Stay longer to chat with fellow book lovers. We’ll provide book-themed conversation starters!

Venue Details:

📍 Location: NEMO Science Museum's Rooftop. Please enter via the long stairs, not through the museum.
📅 Time: Saturday, August 1st, from 11:00-12:00. Arrive at least 15-30 minutes early to settle in before we kick off at 11:00 sharp!
