⚡ MATT-E: Originating from Alsace, Matt was immersed in the culture of German clubs and raves since his teenage years. Inspired by this, he built an electronic universe behind the decks. From deep house to incisive techno to drum and bass, Matt spun his first vinyl in 1998 alongside the Bionic Bass association in Alsace and Germany, before moving to Perpignan in 2001. From November 2021 to June 2023, Matt hosted his monthly show Techno Force on Jim’s Prophecy Radio, focusing exclusively on vinyl techno. Now a familiar face at El Paseo, he also performs at several EXIL events, bringing the underground spirit through his DJ sets. Recently, Matt has turned to a different style, blending heavy bass dub with old school dub and reggae that he has always cherished.
