🤼‍♂️ Welcome to the 2026 GTI English Open Championships!
📍 Location: Hinckley Leisure Centre
🗓 Date: Sunday, 15th February 2026

Unite with ITF-Style Taekwondo clubs and associations as we showcase skill and sportsmanship! 🌟
Participation Requirements:

• Competitors must hold a minimum rank of yellow-tag (9th Kup).

Schedule:

• Doors Open: 09:00
• Junior Colour Belts (under 18): Arrive by 09:00 for a 09:30 start
• Adult Colour Belts: Arrive by 10:30
• Junior Black Belts: Arrive by 11:30
• Adult Black Belts: Arrive by 12:30

Competitions Include:

• Patterns
• Point-Stop Sparring (Yellow/Green belts, under 18s)
• Continuous Sparring (All juniors & adults)
• Power Test (Adults, blue belts, 4th Kup and above)

Event Highlights:

• Fully matted areas and high-quality medals! 🏅
• Categories separated by age, height, weight, and black belt grades 🔍
• Fair judging standards! 🟢

Entry Fees:

• £30 for non-GTI competitors
• £25 for GTI members (ask your instructor for the discount code)
• FREE for spectators!
  📅 Entry Deadline: Enter by 8th February 2026. Entries capped at 300; late entries accepted until 12th February (if limit not reached) with a £5 late entry surcharge.

Insurance:
If your organization doesn’t extend insurance support, we offer liability and no-fault accident cover for £5 per entrant, covering all GTI events until the end of the year.
