Join us this summer to celebrate a historic milestone! The Utah Division of Arts & Museums proudly presents “40 Years of Folk,” a landmark exhibition honoring the breadth of living traditions, heritage, and ancestral memories that shape the cultural landscape of our state.
Stepping into the historic Chase Home Museum, you will experience the incredible craftsmanship of Utah’s folk artisans. Across multiple generations and cultural heritages, this exhibition showcases how folk traditions remain vibrant, powerful, and deeply relevant today.

- Handcrafted classical guitar
- Intricately decorated wax-resist eggs
- Korean ink and folk paintings
- Paquimé-style pottery molded from local Utah clay
- Heritage Shoshone beadwork and medallions
- Traditional Puerto Rican festival masks (Vejigantes and Cabezudos)
- Hand-twined Great Depression-era-style rag rugs
