📜 Living History: Courthouse Celebration

Join the Fayette Historical Society for an immersive journey into the past! Experience the sights and sounds of the American Revolution right in our own backyard!

What’s Happening:

• ⚔️ Revolutionary War Camp: Explore an authentic soldiers' camp featuring a period-accurate wagon and live reenactors!
• 🥁 Sign the Declaration: Your little patriots can make history by signing the Declaration of Independence using a real quill and ink!
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-Friendly Vendors: Discover local makers with a focus on fun and hands-on learning for all ages.

Join the incredible Atlanta Pops Orchestra, conducted by Michael Giel, featuring special guest David Phelps for an unforgettable evening of patriotic favorites and powerful performances!

🗓️ SATURDAY, JULY 4th

🔔 Join Fayette Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) on the Courthouse Square at 2:00 PM for a special Bell Ringing Ceremony to honor the brave signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Here’s what’s happening:

• ⚔️ Honor Guard: The SAR will present the colors and perform a traditional gun salute.
• 🔔 The Big Ring: We’re collaborating with the DAR to have the clock tower bell ring for every signer!
• 🏛️ Exclusive Museum Hours: Open for one hour only (2:30–3:30 PM) to view a special exhibit about the three signers from Georgia.

🎆 EVENING: Main Street’s 4th of July Bash!

The party moves to the park for our exciting grand finale featuring:

• Massive Firework Show 🎇
• Delicious Food Trucks 🍔🍕
• DJ 🎶
• Inflatables for the Kids 🏰
• Select Vendors 🛍️

What to Bring:

Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and your favorite people! Whether you’re dancing to the DJ or waiting for the first firework to light up the sky, it’s going to be a summer night to remember!
