A Letter from Jeju: Tea Tasting & Teaware by Im Boeun & Jeon Sang Geun - Saturday, May 30th Session

Join us for a guided tea tasting and pairing experience centered on Korean tea, craft, and ceramics at Tearoom by Calmplex.
This special tea gathering will be led by Tea Director Im Boeun, in collaboration with Korean ceramic artist Jeon Sang Geun, whose teaware reflects a deep sensitivity to material, form, and tradition.
Using Jeon’s ceramics throughout the tasting, we’ll explore how the vessel shapes the experience of tea: its aroma, texture, temperature, and rhythm.
Inspired by Jeju, the tea selection will unfold as a 4-course pairing experience, beginning with an opening tea and progressing through thoughtfully curated infusions that express the depth of Korean tea culture.
A limited selection of Jeon Sang Geun’s teaware will be available for purchase exclusively for attendees.
