A4FC 2026 Tule Harvest & Community Gathering # 1

Join Alliance For Felix Cove (A4FC) for our second Tule Harvest of 2026! 🌱 Together, we'll honor the sacred tule—a prolific reed deeply woven into California Indigenous lifeways. Tule is more than just a plant; it plays a vital role in our stories, homes, and futures. Here’s what awaits you:

• Hands-On Learning: Discover traditional tule harvesting techniques and its myriad uses in cordage, basketry, canoe making, clothing, and more. 🌊
• Community Connection: This event welcomes all ages and backgrounds to share stories and build relationships rooted in respect for the land and Indigenous knowledge.

What to Bring:

• Water bottle 💧
• Hat 🧢
• Sunscreen ☀️
• Light clothing (long pants and long sleeves recommended)
• Optional: gloves and clippers ✂️
• Be tick aware!

Lunch:

• A delicious lunch will be provided 🍽️!
