Saxophonist Adia Vanheerentals is not just a musician but a creator, known for her contribution to the Elisabeth Klinck Trio and Woolvs Large Ensemble. Selected as one of Klara's Twintigers for 2024, she draws inspiration from legends like Alice Coltrane, Steve Lacy, and Shabaka Hutchings. Her solo project at Bozar is a vibrant translation of her album Taking Place (Relative Pitch Records, New York), featuring her improvisations recorded in unique outdoor settings.

The evening continues with the innovative sounds of Amirtha Kidambi, a socially engaged artist from New York. With her ensemble, Elder Ones, she confidently merges Carnatic song, avant-garde rock, and free jazz, fearlessly tackling topics such as power, capitalism, and colonialism.
