Ageing Gracefully: Understanding the Science Behind Longevity
About the Event
What does it truly mean to age well—and how much of what we hear about longevity is actually supported by science?
With the rapid growth of the longevity industry, it can be difficult to separate meaningful scientific discoveries from trends, marketing, and quick-fix solutions. The key to understanding longevity starts with understanding the biology of ageing itself.
In this first session of a new longevity talk series with NIO House, we will explore the fundamental biology of ageing and uncover the cellular mechanisms that influence how we age. This talk will provide the scientific foundation needed to understand what truly drives longevity by delving into geroprotective mechanisms, strategies for preventive cognitive health, and the biology underlying graceful ageing. This is the first fundamental talk in a series of talks.
Upcoming talks within the series will take participants on a journey to understand the science behind the world of longevity—learning how to critically evaluate emerging longevity trends, nutrition and supplementation strategies, female precision longevity approaches, brain longevity, and how to independently interpret longevity products, research, and claims through an evidence-based lens.
