Areuse Gorge Neuchâtel (T1)

Join us for a scenic hike through the breathtaking Areuse Gorge in the Canton of Neuchâtel! We'll trek along the river through narrow canyon sections from Noiraigue to Boudry, including the iconic stone bridge, Saut de Brot.

📍 Hike Details

• Route: Noiraigue – Areuse Gorge – Boudry
• Distance: 11.5 km
• Time: Approximately 3 hours of walking + time for lunch & photos
• Ascent/Descent: +120m / -350m
• Difficulty: T1 according to SAC classification

🚆 Logistics

• Meeting Point: Zurich HB under the blue angel at 08:50
• From Zürich: Train to Neuchâtel at 09:04
• From Neuchâtel: Train to Noiraigue at 10:41
• Start Time: Hike begins in Noiraigue at 11:05
• End of Hike: In Boudry, where we will take the train back home.

🍽️ Food

We'll enjoy a picnic along the river around 13:00, so please remember to bring your own food. After lunch, we will stop for coffee at Hôtel de la Truite if available.
