Calling all self-described (and aspiring ◡̈) artists, engineers, creators, writers, designers, programmers, founders, researchers, & makers of all kinds: don't let your background define you.

Explore and work on a new interest that you're curious about!

Here's what's on the agenda:

• 6:00 PM: Beginning ritual — what you're working on & what inspires you
• 6:30 PM: Work blocks — 50 min deep work / 10 min break / 50 min deep work
• 8:20 PM: Demos & food — what we made & what we learned

Snacks provided. We highly encourage you to bring your own to share! Doors open at 5:45 PM.

HARD START AT 6:10 PM. If you arrive late, please find a spot to work quietly until the break. <3

What is Atelier?
Atelier is a place where you have the freedom to explore your curiosity. We gather weekly to create things: software apps, blogs, paintings, videos, music, games, graphics, and so on.

at·el·ier: a workshop or studio, especially one used by an artist or designer.

No school work or job work allowed. Please read and adhere to our code of conduct.

"I don't think I'm creative enough to join."
Your starting point doesn't matter. The only prerequisite is the curiosity to show up with an open mind.

To become creative, you need to create. This is the place to start; to be inspired and to regain our childlike pursuit for making things & sharing them.

We are inspired by our friends at Socratica, an organization founded at the University of Waterloo that has expanded to cities across the world. ⁂
