Aurelius + Diist

Aurelius brings raw emotion combined with an intense atmosphere that oscillates between dark synth, post-punk, and intimate introspection.

Under his pseudonym, Václav Vítek first released his debut album Bedroom (May 1, 2025), in which he creates a personified space of a room as a reflection of his own identity. On his second album Ultrazvuk (December 6, 2025), Aurelius shifts his sonic exploration to a metaphysical plane. Energetic and urgent electronics intertwine with more drawn-out, even "jazzier" passages, which open up space for contemplation, physicality, and an altered perception of reality. Aurelius represents a journey from inner peace to vibrations, a search on the edge of reason and intuition.
