A Parent & Child Natural Makeup Workshop

Trade toy makeup sets filled with mystery ingredients for an afternoon of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on fun.

In this one-of-a-kind workshop, children (ages 5+) and the grown-ups they love will discover how flowers, roots, clays, and plant oils can be transformed into beautiful botanical beauty products using thoughtfully selected, skin-loving ingredients. Every formula is made with clean, plant-based ingredients — so you can feel good knowing exactly what goes onto your child's skin.

Together, you'll explore the colorful world of natural pigments, experiment with herb-infused oils, botanical powders, natural clays, and shimmering mineral micas, and learn how small changes in a formula can create completely different colors, textures, and finishes.

Then it's time to visit the Botanical Beauty Bar, where you'll mix, customize, and create four full-size products that are as unique as you are.

Whether you're celebrating a birthday, planning a special parent-child outing, or simply looking for a screen-free afternoon together, this workshop is a joyful way to learn something new, create lasting memories, and leave with beautiful handmade products you'll actually use.

Each participant will take home their handmade products, along with a Take-Home Kit for future creations.

​BUILD YOUR BEAUTY BOX

During the workshop, each parent-child pair will create four custom botanical beauty products from the following selections:

Lip Balm — a moisturizing balm with customizable color and lasting hydration

Lip Gloss — a silky gloss that adds shine with a hint of botanical color

Lip & Cheek Tint — a versatile cream tint for a fresh, natural-looking flush

Cream Color Balm — a multi-purpose balm for lips, cheeks, and eyes with blendable, buildable color

Glow Balm — a luminous balm that leaves skin with a soft, dewy radiance

Shimmer Body Balm — a nourishing body balm with a touch of shimmer for a subtle, sun-kissed glow

Every creation is customized by you using our Botanical Beauty Bar, featuring herb-infused oils, botanical pigments, natural clays, and optional mineral shimmer — so every beauty box is completely one of a kind.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Throughout the workshop, we'll explore:

The basics of botanical makeup formulation

How herbal-infused oils naturally create beautiful color

How different waxes, butters, and oils affect texture and performance

The role of botanical powders, clays, and mineral micas in natural cosmetics

Tips for blending custom shades that complement your personal style

No prior experience is necessary — just curiosity and a willingness to create.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Additional Child (+$40)

Perfect for siblings or friends joining the fun. Each additional child receives their own materials to create three products.

Additional Take-Home Kits will also be available for purchase during the workshop.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Because every participant chooses their own products, colors, and finishes, no two creations are ever exactly alike.

Spots are limited to keep the workshop intimate.

10+ days before the workshop
Enjoy a full refund or choose to reschedule for another date.

3–9 days before the workshop
We can’t offer a refund, but you’ll receive full credit toward a future workshop.

Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows
Since all materials and preparations will already be set, we’re unable to offer a refund or reschedule.

💡 Can’t make it last minute? You’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend—just send us their name ahead of time!

By attending, you acknowledge that photos or short videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. We keep photography minimal and respectful, but your hands, artwork, or presence may appear in Serein Botanicals’ social media or marketing materials.
