Candle Light Procession

Please join us as we kick off our 138th Feast of Our Lady of the Snow in Williamsburg Brooklyn! At 7:30 PM, we will begin our procession from our hall at 410 Graham Avenue, carrying our statue of Our Lady of the Snow through the streets of our neighborhood. We will make our way to Saint Francis of Paola Church - Divine Mercy Parish for Novena Prayers, before processing back to the hall where we will gather for refreshments and music. Society of Saint Mary of the Snow is the oldest mutual aid society in New York. Founded in 1888 by immigrants from Sanza, Italy, we we organize a yearly feast honoring Our Lady of the Snow, the patron saint of Sanza. This rich tradition dates back to 900 AD, and the feast has been a Williamsburg Institution for over a century. Join us for nine evenings of music, food, and festivities!
