Change is Us Beach Clean - up (26th of July 2026)

Change Is Us is a youth led community, working towards tackling marine & plastic pollution since July 2019. The community has managed to clean around 850+ metric tonnes of garbage from the city's coastline in a span of 280+ weeks and counting, and has also engaged 90,000+ volunteers hailing from diverse backgrounds. Apart from this we also spread environmental and societal awareness.

Mandatory Instructions to follow:

• The volunteers are suggested to carry their own face masks & hand sanitizer for the clean-up drive.

• Please wear adequate amount of sunscreen and carry a cap.

• Disposable gloves & equipment required for the clean-up will be provided by the 'Change Is Us' team.

(The volunteers can get a pair of reusable gloves for themselves if they wish to).

• It is mandatory for the volunteers to wear closed footwear & comfortable long clothing for the clean-up drive. Avoid new/expensive shoes.

• In case it rains, please carry a windcheater for your convenience.

• Please carry sufficient water for yourself, preferably in a reusable bottle.

Note: This Self Declaration form is mandatory for all individuals who wish to participate in the clean-up drives organized by 'Change Is Us'. This form must be filled completely by every individual prior to arrival at the clean-up location.
