Join us for an unforgettable evening adventure as the Chasing Sunsets series of weekly journeys heads into the stunning Pennine hills to visit the iconic Singing Ringing Tree. This magnificent wind-powered sculpture, perched high above Burnley, creates hauntingly beautiful sounds as the breeze flows through its pipes. Combined with sweeping views across the surrounding moorland, it offers the perfect setting to witness the sun setting below the horizon.

What to Expect:

Our Chasing Sunsets events focus on discovering amazing sunset viewpoints, making this route an exceptional experience with big skies and open moorland. Each route covers approximately 4 miles, but the emphasis is on the social experience! Here's what you'll enjoy:

• 🌄 Relaxing evening on the trails
• 👥 Connecting with fellow hikers and runners
• 📸 Capturing stunning sunset photos
• 😂 Sharing plenty of laughs along the way

Hikers and runners will begin at the same location but will set out on the trail in opposite directions. As you pass each other, it’s the perfect occasion for a group photo, hopefully with the magnificent sunset as your backdrop. The event is guided by a qualified Hill and Moorland team with vast experience in upland environments. We'll handle the planning, route, and navigation so you can simply partake in the adventure!
