Join us for an extraordinary evening of sound and storytelling at the Cherrywood Center! 🌟

Performers:

• Matt Ingalls: Experience a continuous 30-minute micro-timbre clarinet solo that showcases Ingalls' expertise in circular breathing and improvisation. This physical tour-de-force pushes the boundaries of the clarinet, creating mesmerizing tones that resonate within the listener. For more details, visit Matt's Website.

• Peter Stopschinski: His trio, featuring Henna Chou and Sam Arnold, will unveil 30 minutes of the slowest music yet. Expect sumptuous melodies infused with effects, drawing inspiration from legends like Eric Satie and the emotional landscapes of Soap Operas and Soul Music. Peter will also share excerpts from his arrangement of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, entitled The Massacre of Spring.

• Julie Slim: Joined by pianist Shawn Ellison, Slim will take you on a musical journey through their original songs, featuring lyrics in multiple languages. Discover the stories behind their lives through music.
