Contact Improvisation Class | Weekly with Rotating Teachers

🌟 Welcome to our engaging weekly drop-in class focusing on Contact Improvisation (CI) technique! This class, featuring rotating teachers, is open throughout the year and embraces both beginners and seasoned practitioners.

🕒 Class Duration: 2.5 hours of guided exploration that combines technical exercises with BodyMind (Somatic) practices in CI, crescendoing into jam-like moments! We’ll delve into essential elements of CI, such as:

• Utilizing breath, weight, and skeletal alignment to enhance your movement
• Following points of contact for dynamic interactions
• Safely taking, giving, and lifting weight with partners
• Embracing uncertainty while deeply listening to subtle impulses in the moment

🌐 This diverse class may adapt to the varying styles of our teachers, ensuring you find meaningful exercises suited to your level of experience each day. Classes will be conducted in either English or Swedish, depending on the instructor and participants' needs.

• Location: Alma Söderberg Studio, Bergsgatan 29, SE-214 22 Malmö (please ring the bell downstairs)
• Weekly Schedule: Every Monday, from 18:00 to 20:30

💲 Cost:

• Single Class: 250kr
• 10-Class Clip Card: 1500kr
• 5-Class Clip Card: 1000kr

🌍 This class is organized in collaboration with local teachers including Katarzyna Paluch, Tuva Hildebrand, Emelie Bardon, Benjamin Lindh Medin, and Aurora Westfeldt, alongside the wonderful weekly class led by Anna "Pippi" Wallin every Wednesday from 18:30 to 20:30, which we highly recommend attending! ❤️
