CPR Classical Night at Colorado Music Festival: Prokofiev, Copland, Rossini & Ravel

Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music as conductor Gemma New returns to lead a diverse program featuring:

• Prokofiev’s cheerful "Classical" Symphony — a work inspired by the elegance of Mozart and Haydn.
• Clarinet virtuoso Ricardo Morales performs Copland’s Clarinet Concerto, infused with lively Brazilian rhythms that showcase Copland's unique blend of jazz and lyricism.
• Morales will also tackle Rossini’s delightful Introduction, Theme, and Variations, one of the most celebrated pieces for the clarinet.
• The evening concludes with Ravel’s beloved Ma mère l’oye (Mother Goose) suite, where fairy tale favorites like Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast come to life!
