Hosted by Kevin Hawkins and chef Patrick Wardell, this event is a collaboration with the Master Winemaker & Vineyard Owners of Mas del Abundancia, along with artisan gelato maestro Sonia Burgetti.

👨‍🍳 MEET THE CHEF

Patrick Wardell brings a wealth of experience, having been trained in Michelin-starred restaurants in Ireland, including renowned chefs Ross Lewis and Graham Neville. Upon relocating to London, he specialized in wood-fired cooking at Shotgun alongside Brad McDonald. Patrick later opened two acclaimed restaurants in Santiago, Chile, focused on open-fire cuisine, inspired by the Argentine asado tradition. He founded Nómada to merge exceptional food with distinctive cooking methods for a truly immersive dining experience.

🍷 THE WINE

Founded in 1982 by the del Rio Mateu family, Mas de l'Abundància is now owned by Ryan Vanderpol and Nikki Katsutani since 2024. This historic winery, located in the D.O. Montsant region of Catalonia, Spain, is celebrated for its artisanal wines such as Abundància and Flvminis, focusing on organic production with a special emphasis on Garnatxa, Carinyena, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

🍦 THE GELATO

Laboratorio Burgetti is a family-owned gelateria situated in Eixample, run by Sonia Burgetti and her family. They pride themselves on crafting artisanal small-batch gelato using premium raw materials, creating new flavors daily within a laboratory-style setting that allows visitors to witness the production process—a blend of tradition and creativity!
