Creatures of the Summer Night with Kay

Join science communicator Kay for an indoor and outdoor exploration of the nocturnal creatures who call Swan Lake home. Adaptations and key features of owls, bats, and other night loving creatures will be explored on a short walk. Learn how you can identify signs of these nocturnal neighbours, and see real example specimens up close and personal.You never know ‘whooo’ you’re going to see… Some steps and sloped gravel trails will be part of the path for this event. This event is well suited for all ages: families, or adults - children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Where: Swan Lake Nature House - 3873 Swan Lake Road When: Thursday, July 30th, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM Who: All Ages Cost: $10 per adult, $5 per child ages 3 to 12.
