"My Own Devices" showcases a captivating series of sculptures by Brooklyn-based artist Dena Paige Fischer. These interactive artworks leave visible traces through movement and use, whether marking walls, drawing lines in sand, or creating tracks across the floor. Each sculpture invites experimentation and play, challenging traditional notions of precision and control. Made from industrial materials, these pieces are both art objects and instruments, sparking opportunities for unexpected marks to emerge through engagement.

About the Artist:
Dena Paige Fischer (b. 1987, New York City) is a talented sculptor based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (2009). Dena has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group shows across various prestigious galleries. Her pieces have also been featured in esteemed publications such as Impulse Magazine, ArtEchive, BSceneZine, Art Spiel, The New Yorker, Jersey City Times, and The Untitled Magazine.
