Divine Duality: A Medicine Making workshop for Qariwarmi, Two-Spirit, + Genderfluid Beings
Join us for an enriching workshop led by Munay Killari! ✨ Qariwarmi and Two-Spirit beings have long been revered as vital spiritual leaders in our communities. During this session, we will sip on Andean tea while exploring the cultural traditions that genderfluid beings have nurtured across the globe. Together, we will create Agua de Florida using plantitas that honor our sacred duality and fluidity.
What is Agua de Florida? 🌊
Agua de Florida is deeply rooted in Andean spirituality, often utilized in ceremonies for cleansing the mind, body, spirit, and space. In this workshop, we will examine the herbs that respect duality and resonate with our mind-body-spirit as genderfluid beings.
Who is Munay?
Munay Killari is a queer TiTi, educator, healer, and a proud member of the Peruvian diaspora. As the co-founder of Andean Baby, a resource hub for Andean diaspora individuals, Munay honors the guidance of their ancestors and elders in this essential work, drawing on over 18 years of experience in advocating for abolitionist education and fostering healing-centered spaces for youth, educators, and community organizers.
