Get ready for an unforgettable celebration! 🎊 Oslo Sambaskole warmly invites families and kids to march and dance with us in the vibrant parade during Verdenskarneval 2026 in Oslo! 👨👩👧👦
Who Can Join?
All families with children of any age are welcome—no prior dance experience needed! To participate, please register and attend at least one of our Family Samba Practices, where we’ll prepare for the carnival.
Here's what you can look forward to:
🎶 Family Samba Practices
- Sunday, May 10th (12.00–13.00)
- Sunday, May 24th (12.00–13.00)
Location: Studio Orient, Arbeidergata 4 (near Stortinget metro)
💰 Cost: Free! Join us and enjoy samba as a family.
🇧🇷 Theme for Our Family Group
We'll represent Brazil! Instead of full costumes, we’ll embrace Brazil’s colors: green and yellow 💛💚

For the third consecutive year, Verdenskarneval brings together diverse people and cultures for a unique celebration in the heart of Oslo. Highlights include a lively parade, performances, concerts, workshops, and more! ✨ This year's theme is community (fellesskap)—a celebration of how dance, music, and culture bring us together.
