
Flowing Somen, Organic Farming, Forest Hike, Seasonal Lunch, Plum Soda & Dessert

It’s getting hot, but let’s refresh ourselves in a peaceful countryside surrounded by mountains and easily accessible from Tokyo 🌳✨
We’ll enjoy traditional flowing somen noodles using a bamboo slide made from local bamboo 🎋✨
We’ll meet at Ogawamachi Station in Saitama and walk through the countryside to the event location.
On the way, we’ll stop by my farm and take a look around 🧑🌾 Since it’s the season for summer vegetables, I’ll introduce some seasonal vegetables and briefly explain how they are grown while looking at the vegetables in the field ✨ Depending on the condition of the farm, we may also be able to harvest vegetables such as eggplants, green beans, carrots, cucumbers, and pumpkins 🍆🥒🥕🎃🫛
For lunch, we’ll prepare dishes made with fresh vegetables from the farm 😋
Our mapo eggplant is especially popular every year 🍆✨
For the flowing somen experience, we’ll use our favorite traditional hand-stretched Shimabara somen from Nagasaki, which is said to be one of Japan's most renowned somen varieties. It’s so delicious 💪✨
After enjoying lunch together, we’ll go for a hike in the forest we manage 🥾✨
The temperature in the forest usually feels a little cooler, and the fresh air is wonderful 🌳✨
After that, we’ll enjoy homemade plum syrup soda, which is incredibly refreshing in summer, along with a light and refreshing rare cheesecake 🍹🍰✨
Let’s enjoy seasonal summer activities, relax in nature, taste delicious food made with fresh seasonal vegetables, and meet new friends who also love nature 😊✨
