The dance-visual performance JARO (SPRING) becomes a reference to the natural cycle and returns to rituals historically connected with this time of year. It is a tribute to nature, an awareness of its power, and a release of everything that hinders its flourishing. JARO (SPRING) is an essay on the present day, carrying traces of the past in terms of belonging and perceiving oneself as part of an ecosystem. Meanwhile, society has moved forward regardless of the natural order. That order, however, continues uninterrupted while only humans disrupt it, believing they can change it.
The performance speaks to people in their naturalness, sensuality, and presence. Audiences can therefore look forward to an original, meditative experience that combines contemporary dance with the unique atmosphere of a former monastery space.
Suitable for viewers over 6 years old.
