Free Learn To Skate Clinic

Learn to skate outdoors. Inline skaters, roller skaters, adults, families and teens are welcome.

More of a workshop than a clinic, this gives you the skills to skate outdoors safely and with confidence. You can repeat the clinic as many times as you want.

A helmet (a bike helmet will do), wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads are required. We have free loaner protective gear and skates available. If you need loaner skates, please contact us at least a couple of days in advance so we can bring the right size.

If you plan to buy protective gear, you can buy them from us when you register. Pickup at the event and we'll make sure you get the right size.

We'll be at the Salvation Army at the corner of Sherman Avenue and Morton Street NW. Park on the streets nearby and go to the Morton Street entrance of the building.
