Free Opening Festivities of the Day of the Dead 2026

Dear Community,

Join us for a vibrant celebration as part of the Seattle Catrinas Festival 2026! Enjoy a free art exposition dedicated to honoring the Day of the Dead in Seattle.

🗓️ Exposition Dates: October 4 - October 29, 2026
📍 Location: Westlake Park, Downtown Seattle, 401 Pine St, Seattle, WA 98101

🎊 Opening Day Highlights:

• Catrina face painting starts at 1:00 PM with food and craft vendors present.
• Nahui Ollin Aztec dancers perform at 2:00 PM.
• Enjoy a lively performance by Baile Folklore Colibrí at 2:30 PM.
• At 3:00 PM, listen to a brief talk on the history of Día de los Muertos.
• Participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:15 PM, followed by a concert featuring Mariachi Mi Tierra.
• Wrap up the festivities as the event concludes at 4:30 PM.

🌟 After the opening event, continue the celebration on October 31 & November 1 from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Town Hall Seattle, 1119 8th Ave, Seattle, WA 98101.
