The Global Underscore is a one-of-a-kind event in the Contact Improvisation world, inspired by Nancy Stark Smith's pioneering work. More than just a jam, it’s a journey into movement, touch, attention, and presence. This year, we aim to expand the Underscore into a dialogue with integrated dance practices, collaborating with Integrated Dance DK to make this form more accessible to dancers of all backgrounds.

🌱 Pre-Event Collaborations:
In the lead-up to the Global Underscore, there will be a variety of opportunities to dive deeper into this practice:

• Thursdays: Inclusive CI Jam for shared inquiry by Integrated Dance DK
• Fridays: Focus Jams exploring the Underscore by Dance Share
• Sundays: Underscore-inspired introductions at the Sunday jam by CI Copenhagen
  These sessions are designed to create a more inclusive and interconnected experience at the main event.

Whether you're new to Contact Improvisation or a seasoned practitioner, you're welcome! However, if you are a complete beginner, we recommend attending the introduction from 14:45 to 15:45.

• Payment is required prior to the event via MobilePay to 2895TW or in cash to Anne.
• Price: 200 DKK. If you face financial challenges, please reach out to us; we want everyone to join!
• Bring comfortable clothing, knee pads if necessary, a journal, a pen, and your favorite snack to share (we'll have some chocolate, dates, and fruits!).
