Google Codelab: Enhancing E-Commerce Checkout with Browser AI Capabilities

Join this 90-minute workshop to explore how to leverage new AI browser capabilities to improve the checkout experience for your users! You'll start by learning how to implement a fast, local, and private recommendation engine using the Prompt API. Then, we'll expose the recommendations and your checkout flow to user agents using WebMCP.

Workshop Details:

• Audience: Web developers
• Level: Intermediate
• What to expect: Light refreshments / snacks and a hands-on workshop.

Requirements:

• Bring your own laptop and power cable (activities are intended for laptops only).
• A working Node.js development environment with Node 24+.
• Chrome 150 or greater.
• (Optional) A coding agent with Modern Web Guidance and DevTools for agents installed.

Workshop Times:

We are offering two time slots for this workshop:

• Slot 1: 1:00 - 3:00 PM EDT
• Slot 2: 3:00 - 5:00 PM EDT

When completing your registration, please select the ticket for the time slot you are registering for. You cannot register for both time slots.
