Granada Hills Salad Bowl Garden Club - Open Garden Hours

Join us at the Granada Hills community garden for our Open Garden Hours! This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer, take tours, harvest fresh goodies, and simply enjoy the beauty of nature! Everyone is welcome! 🤗

The Granada Hills Salad Bowl Garden Club is dedicated to fostering self-sufficiency and healthy living in our community by educating residents about gardening skills. 🌿

During this event, the community garden will be open for:

• Volunteering 🌻
• Dropping off vegetable scraps for compost ♻️
• Plot inquiries and guided tours 🚶‍♂️

We are a volunteer-run organization, and those who come out to help will engage in activities such as weeding, grass removal, mulching, planting, composting, harvesting, and more exciting projects. No prior experience is necessary! 🙌

What to Bring:

• Sun hat ☀️
• Comfortable, closed-toed shoes 👟
• Long pants and sleeves for sun protection 🌞
• Your own drinking water 💧

Please note: Tools and garden gloves will be provided for the event. No dogs allowed. Street parking is available on both sides of Rinaldi Street. Walk-ins are welcomed! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
