• A brief introduction to the Hebrew alphabet 📜
• The typography and historical development of Hebrew writing 🕰️

In this hands-on workshop, you'll get to:

• Practice writing with calligraphic ink, pens, and brushes ✍️
• Experiment with different styles of Hebrew script 🎨
• Create your own calligraphic artwork to take home!

No prior knowledge of Hebrew is needed!

About the Instructor

Karolina Kašeová teaches Modern Hebrew and Yiddish at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at Charles University in Prague. Since 2020, she has focused on Hebrew and Yiddish calligraphy, blending Yiddish poetry with the rich literary heritage of Jewish culture. 🌟
