About HIRAES:
Formed in 2020, HIRAES combines the talents of four instrumentalists from Lower Saxony's Dawn of Disease with powerhouse vocalist Britta Görtz (Critical Mess, ex-Cripper). Their name, derived from the Welsh word "hiraeth," evokes a deep sense of longing that resonates throughout their music.
With the release of their debut album Solitary (2021) produced by Jens Bogren (known for working with Amon Amarth and Arch Enemy), followed by Dormant in 2024, HIRAES has carved their unique sound featuring intense melodies, charging guitars, and hauntingly beautiful choruses. If you're a fan of At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity, or Insomnium, this is a night you won't want to miss!
