Frank is a world-weary university professor who has lost his passion for teaching and sometimes even shows up to class tipsy. Rita, a feisty hairdresser, wants to completely change her life and break free from the mundane stereotypes of her environment, so she enrolls in a distance learning literature program. Her encounter with Frank initially appears to be a clash of two completely different worlds... How different are they? And how much are we willing to pay for self-respect?
