🌍 Event Overview

Welcome to the Language Exchange! This event is designed for individuals looking to practice their Japanese and English skills in a friendly environment. Participants will be grouped into small teams of 3-4 based on their language proficiency, allowing for engaging 45-minute sessions of free conversation in both languages.

💰 Admission Fees

• Japanese Participants (native speakers currently studying English): $2
• Non-Japanese Participants (those studying Japanese): $5

All proceeds will be used to maintain this website and support future language exchange facilities and social events. Thank you for your understanding!

📅 Schedule

• 5:15 PM - 5:30 PM: Check-in and Group Placement
• 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM: Japanese Conversation
• 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM: English Conversation

Atrium Food Court
Please look for the organizer holding a TJEX sign. If you can't find it, feel free to message us!

⚠️ Important RSVP Information

• RSVP Open: 5:00 PM on Saturday
• RSVP Cancel Deadline: 2:00 PM on Saturday (day of the event)
• RSVP Close: 3:00 PM on Saturday (day of the event)

Cancellation Policy: If you do not attend or arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show. Accumulating three no-shows will result in the cancellation of your membership.

If you anticipate being late, please message the organizer. Arriving without notice may prevent you from participating, especially if groups need to be rearranged.

Although our group is a non-profit organization, we collect $5 per English speaker for every event. All proceeds are used to run this website and for social events.

Note: Canadian English speakers must be native or fluent in English to participate.
