Kinsley Avenue Community Paddles

Join the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council for free community paddles on the scenic Woonasquatucket River this summer! Paddle alongside the experienced WRWC Paddle Team and immerse yourself in a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to kayaking and canoeing right in the heart of Providence.

These enjoyable 15–20 minute guided paddles are designed for first-time paddlers, families, and anyone looking to boost their confidence on the water before embarking on longer river trips later in the season. All gear—canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets—will be provided by WRWC. 🚣‍♀️🛶

• All skill levels welcome!
• Children may participate when accompanied by an adult.
• Spanish interpretation available on-site.

• All participants must wear a life jacket (PFD).
• Participants bringing their own boat must also wear a PFD and sign a waiver.
• Porta potties and handwashing stations available on-site.
