Komentovaná exkurze: 550 let plzeňského knihtisku

To mark the 550th anniversary of the beginnings of book printing in the Czech lands, participants will learn about the development of book printing in Pilsen from 1476 to the early 19th century and about the most significant prints produced in the city during this period. The tour will include a guided selection of examples of period publications. Some of the materials will be presented in the form of photocopies, while selected exhibits will also be available for viewing in their original form.

The program has been prepared in cooperation with the Pilsen Region Study and Research Library and the library of the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen. The tour will take place in the historical collections section on the 1st floor of the Pilsen Region Study and Research Library.
