About the Artist

Akossiwa Mawulawoe Medowokpo, known as Sabine Medowokpo, is a talented self-taught artist from Lorne, Togo. Her journey began in primary school with a love for comics, evolving into painting in 1993. With international recognition, Sabine has exhibited her work across Africa and Europe, collaborating with esteemed institutions. 🖼️

In 2016, she was honored with the International Prize in Eco-Painting, emphasizing her commitment to environmental awareness through art. Sabine not only creates but also teaches, inspiring the next generation of artists through workshops for children. 🎉💫

Recently, she ventured into music, unveiling her single "Nyonou Zanze" at the Festival of Morns. 🎶 With her diverse talents, Sabine bridges cultures and redefines artistic expression.
