Lughnasadh Snack & Craft w/ Sarah

Om evenemanget

Join us in the Temple for an enriching afternoon celebrating Lughnasadh, also known as Lammas! This ancient Gaelic festival marks the first of three harvest celebrations, honoring the Sun God Lugh and his foster mother Tailtiu, who cleared the land for agriculture in Irish mythology.

Expect a festive gathering filled with fire, competitions, feasting, trading, crafting, handfasting, and much more! During the event, we will:

  • Enjoy snacks inspired by the harvest. This is a potluck, so feel free to bring a vegetarian snack, side dish, dessert, and/or beverage!
  • Share stories in a circle to inspire the season's energy.
  • Help build our community’s Pagan Wheel seasonal altar in our shared altar room.
  • Get creative with crafts that you can take home for personal ritual use.

Bring an altar item to represent the energy you are embracing for the upcoming season. You can take your item home after the altar is dismantled or leave it as a gift for the temple.

This gathering welcomes everyone—guys, gals, and all pals! The minimum age to attend is 13, so whether you're in or out of the Broom Closet, there's a place for you here!
