The Hot House Combo, featuring the imimitable Willy Briggs exudes a giddy blend of vintage charm and captivating rhythms, They will transport you to the colourful and carefree foot-tapping era of yesteryear. Inspired by the great musicians of the 1920s, '30s and '40s, this upbeat, exciting 4 piece perform songs they love and they create new ones in the same style! Their passion and energy will have you struggling to sit still - and they wouldn't want you to anyway! So, fasten your swing seat belt - you're in for a thrilling ride! Also appearing are young and up and coming band Ruby & the Rapids. Ruby Briggs is a 16 year old singer/guitarist, playing authentic 1950s & early 1960s Rockabilly & Rock'n'roll. She's is accompanied by her father, Willy Briggs, on lead guitar, Dave Doel, on bass, and fellow teenager 17 year old Faron Doel on drums. As well as playing great upbeat covers, they also bring fresh original material too.
