Martinů Voices – Americké spirituály

As part of the musical cycle Rok na 4 doby (A Year in Four Seasons), come and listen to the Martinů Voices chamber choir conducted by Lukáš Vasilek. Accompanied by pianist Jan Dušek, they will perform their concert entitled American Spirituals on April 9, 2026, at the Church of St. Bonaventure in Mladá Boleslav.

Martinů Voices is a group of professional singers with many years of experience who are regular guests at the most important Czech festivals, including Prague Spring and Dvořák Prague. In American Spirituals, the choir will perform emotionally charged songs in spectacular and virtuoso jazz arrangements. An interesting feature of the program will be the arrangements by Henry Thacker Bruleigh, whose spirituals also influenced the work of Antonín Dvořák.
