Mozart's Requiem

Join Make Music New York for a heartwarming return of Mozart’s Requiem! This season, we invite singers and orchestra musicians of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels to take part in an in-person performance of this profound and solemn piece. Under the direction of Douglas Anderson and producer Melissa Gerstein, past performances have been deeply moving and widely cherished.

As part of the Summer Solstice event, we will celebrate and honor lost loved ones through music at 601 Lexington Avenue, New York City. Maestro Anderson reflects:

“Joining together for this occasion offers a lift to the spirits as we perform this exceptional work in memory of those we've lost.”

• Include the following in your email:
  • Your name for the program guide
  • Your vocal (SATB) or instrumental part
  • Dedications for your performance

🎶 Preparation:

• Use your own vocal scores from the Sussmayer standard version. Find it here. We'll be singing in the original Latin.
• To practice, visit Cyberbass at Cyberbass.
