It's Not Magic, It's NFC📡

NFC is in your transit card, your hotel key, and your product's pairing handoff. It looks like magic until you understand the data and energy transfer that takes place. This session aims to close that gap.

About this session

This is an interactive session. Odi will guide you through NFC from the hardware perspective: how a tag is powered, what actually resides on it, and how to program your own. Bring a laptop and follow along as we write to a tag together before the night ends.

About the speaker

Odianosen Okojie is an electrical engineer at Microsoft and a co-organizer of the Netca Series. He led the Series' first session on PCB design fundamentals and works hands-on with embedded electronics.

Agenda

  • Door opens: 5:30 PM
  • Workshop starts: 6:00 PM
  • Casual Networking: 8:00 PM
