🌍 NIMBA: A Fusion of Heritage and Contemporary Performance

Rooted in two iconic symbols of Guinea — the Nimba (N’Dimba) mask of the Baga people, celebrated as a Universal Mother, and the Mount Nimba, a UNESCO World Heritage site that nourishes life through its fifty springs — NIMBA brings together living traditions and modern expression.

Through an exhilarating combination of dance, circus, and music, performers rise from the earth, weaving a narrative that honors the profound connection between the land and its people. As rural and urban realms intersect, landscapes transform, reshaping both identity and territory.

Exploring themes of spirituality, conflict, fire, renewal, and abundance, NIMBA channels the vital forces that shape our existence and the earth we inhabit. This performance is both ancestral and contemporary, echoing our relationship with nature and the futures we are crafting together.
