NUYORICAN BOWERY SLAM

Join us at the iconic Bowery Poetry Club for the legendary Nuyorican Bowery Slam! Hosted by JRose & Luna Rosa, this vibrant poetry slam celebrates the art of spoken word every Monday evening at 308 Bowery (between E. Houston & Bleecker Streets) in Manhattan, NYC.

• Line starts at 6 P.M.
• Doors open at 6:30 P.M.
• Sign up to perform in person after doors open on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Slam Performance: From 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

How It Works:

• Poets have 3 minutes to showcase one original poem per round!
• Scores range from 0.0 to 10.0, judged randomly by audience members.
• Enjoy two exciting rounds, with top poets advancing to the final!
• The winner will take home $20 cash and an invite to the Nuyorican Poets Café's Final Friday Slam at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater!
