The Nigerian who slowed afrobeats down — half-sung, half-mumbled, always straight to the chest. "Soso" has passed a billion streams. "Understand" and "Godly" made him one of the most imitated voices in the genre.

His second album arrived in April 2026: twelve tracks on love, pressure and finding the way back to yourself. Eleven of them charted on the US Afrobeats chart in the same week.

Now the tour reaches Prague. One night at Forum Karlín.

Born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, Omah Lay has established himself as one of Afrobeats' biggest and most unique superstars. With six billion streams worldwide and more than ten million records sold, he is a certified hitmaker. His discography includes two acclaimed EPs (Get Layd and What Have We Done), his debut album Boy Alone, and his second album. His smash hits include Bad Influence, Reason, and Holy Ghost, alongside Godly and Soso. Alongside Davido, he received a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance for their collaboration With You.

Seeing Omah Lay live is an entirely different experience. Supported by a full live band, rich arrangements and exclusive visuals, he brings raw emotion, deep sound and infectious energy to the stage. He has collaborated with African stars including Olamide, Davido and Tyla, as well as international powerhouses such as Ninho, Ozuna and Justin Bieber.
