This open mic is a welcoming space for creative writers and storytellers to share their voices and uplift one another through the written and spoken word. Whether you wish to step up to read your own piece or simply come to listen and be moved, this space is yours.

✨ Hosted by Ibtihal Ahmed, a Sudanese American writer and Third Culture Kid residing in the DMV area. Ibtihal holds degrees in Developmental Psychology and Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She is currently working on her forthcoming book, Conversations, which explores identity and the human experience of growing up across cultures.
