Opening Reception: Positive Gestures

Join us at Ratelier for the opening reception of Positive Gestures, a solo exhibition by Hamilton-based artist Jahn Page.

Working across painting, relief sculpture, and graphic design, Page creates shaped canvases that combine traditional painting techniques with contemporary millwork, producing works that move between painting and sculpture.

In Positive Gestures, abstract sculptural forms are embedded within paintings of flowers and houseplants, bringing movement, expression, and character to each composition. The exhibition includes works from Page’s Okay Bouquet series, where floral imagery and smiling forms reflect on celebration, care, and his experiences as a flower delivery driver.

The exhibition also marks the launch of Okay Bouquet Flower Shop, introduces the activity book Flowers with a Smile!, and features an ASMR-style drawing video that invites viewers to create alongside the artist.

Throughout the evening, guests are invited to meet the artist, explore the exhibition, and experience a fragrance created by Jahn Page. Ratelier’s sensory drinks will also be available to order from the bar.
