The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is excited to present this remarkable exhibition featuring the complete Bayou Collection by Louisiana artist George Rodrigue (1944–2013).

🖼 This exhibition showcases forty original paintings created between 1981 and 1984, inspired by Cajun folklore and ghost stories. These works were produced to accompany author Chris Segura’s book Bayou (Inkwell Press, 1984).

✨ Experience the mysterious swamps, haunting legends, and cultural spirit of Louisiana through Rodrigue’s vivid imagination. Notably, among these paintings is Watch Dog, a transformative work that marks the beginning of Rodrigue’s famous Blue Dog series.
